Goethe II

Hier ist also das Zentrum deutscher Kultur im Staate Paraná in Brasilien. Es handelt sich dabei dann auch um richtige deutsche Kultur und nicht die in Curitiba berüchtigte "Bar do Alemao - Schwarzwald", wohin ich auch schon geschleppt worden bin. Dort ist aber der einzige Geck, dass man in seinem großen Bier ein kleines versenktes Schnapsglas bekommt, auf dem ein Wappen der Bundesländer abgedruckt ist.

Here it is my workingplace and the center of German culture in the south of Brazil! on the contrary to the "bar do alemao" here exists real German culture and not just the fasade to please the Brasilians. It is quite fun though to work here...



Ein kleiner Beweis, dass ich hier auch wirklich bin, und vielleicht will ich auch wenig verhindern, dass ihr mich allzuschnell vergesst!

... here a little proof that it is really me who is here in Brazil and I am not telling only stories... and also I am trying to reming you from time to time on my pretty face (HA HA)...



... hahaha... und hier kommen wir zu den wirklich schwierigen Aufgaben eines Praktikanten im Goethe-Institut: Letzten Donnerstag war Schülerfest und ich musste die "Männerarbeit" tun. Das habe ich dann auch getan und 245 große Pils in zwei Stunden gezapft und dann waren die Fässer leer und die Schüler ganz traurig - war aber lustig und wirklich recht anstrengend!

... and one of my very VERY important jobs here at the Goethe institute was to be a REAL German and serve bear for the thirsty Brazilians! I did it quite well: 245 big "chopps" in two hours - I was impressed by myself and that is indeed hard work...
